Auckland, November, 2000, NZ.

It's a looking like a grey day, but having experienced the better half of the NZ weather that in no doubt shadowed "the day we met Peter". That's right IOU (me&isa) having spent a whole month trekking round NZ doing silly things (see below) met up with Peter Bier, an awesome unicyclist from NZ and did stuff. |

Auckland. Biggest mass of people in NZ, population ~1M and a dozen unicyclists. |

So here we are, the top of mount Victoria, Devonport, on a windy day. The short trek up the top killed me as usual, but peter shot straight up. At the top we admired the view and contenplated jumping on & off monumental map plates, but thought better of it and Munied down the various parts. Peter showed us his gliding skills: |

One day I shall glide too! There's gliding and then there's gliding like a natural, that is going into a glide like free-wheeling a bike - for the later, see Peter!

More useful Muni skills for rocks and the like: bunny up the steps and ride straight down - easy ! If your name is Peter Bier. |

Hardcore scare the grannies street action from peter, hop onto the bench and ride around the 2" lip on the top. It gets better - what you really want to do is go to the next Auckland pics page and check out Peter's Swedish Flying Jump Mount. Click on Peter!
