Red Bull Training Ride, in the New Forest, June 2001.

So what's this all about then. Last year some nuts did the red bull MTB Chanllenge on unicycles. Now how silly is that? Pretty silly if you ask. But for some strange reason I accpeted to join a team of afforementioned nuts for the 2001 challenge. Oh well, here goes nothing. So can I make the distance? Training is the key... so here we are the new forest, once again. Me, Paul, Sarah, Joe, then sun and a whole heap of tracks....

And off they race as I faff around with my new birthday present - a digital camera, yes, technology has landed at the IOU website, things will never be the same again.

A total of 18.5 miles was recorded by the team and our legs didn’t fall off, so it looks like I might make it round the red bull track a couple of times (I have to!) Mind you its nothing compared to the european tour, oh well at least they'll get to sleep at nights! So we had drink:
