So here I am, a dull wet February in England in the middle of some serious DIY - time for a break one thinks. Sun, Sand & Surf, erm not for me! A trip to the mid west, South Dakota to get cold. Rewind<<. Once upon a time the Marsh sisters (instigators of Unicycling Freaks Oranization) left an entry in my guest book, and we became e-mail pen pals. I decided it was about time to meet. I cleverly masterminded my visit to co-incide with MONDO in the twin cities, so we went there too and did stuff. Anyway here's what I got up to in a snowy Brookings:

Brr, I'm telling you in was cold dudes, you don’t believe me ? Check the thermometer, I'm sure it was broken or something…. So here we are: Brookings MUNI, the little mound used primarily for sledding was our play ground for all of 30minutes before our limbs froze and eventually fell off.

Above: a large gathering of snow cleared from the road/car park, Tammy said she'd always wanted a go at uni-ing on one, so we did! The theory goes if Kris Holm can do it so can we, but as we all know theory is far from practice, and in general if Kris Holm can do it, nobody else can.
